Palm webOS Boots on PC, Now Can We have Netbooks or Tablets Running WebOS ?

After HP buying Palm the hopes for webOS based HP tablets are increased and the rumors of HP killing Windows OS based slate is definitely a catalyst towards webOS powered tablet from HP in near future (hint: HP Hurricane). We may not see any tablet from HP running webOS before Q3 of this year but below video showing Palm webOS booting on PC might excite you,

An enthusiastic developer of PreCentral forum has successful booted his Dell laptop on Palm webOS, the trick is to take the webOS image from the emulator and put it on an IDE hard drive, that’s it. Well the video says it all, webOS runs with lower resolution and keyboard is the only way to navigate on webOS.

We are sure your next question will be, will we see usable builds of webOS for PC hardware in near future? Well that’s altogether different talk and only HP can answer this but who knows unofficial builds of webOS might start floating on internet.
