ZTE has named Mr. Shi Lirong, 46, as its new President, replacing Mr. Yin Yimin, who has stepped down after six years at the company. Mr. Lirong has been an Executive Vice President of ZTE Corporation from 1999 to March 2010 responsible for managing the Company's sales and business development operations.
"We are very pleased to announce Mr. Shi Lirong as the new President of ZTE," said Mr. Hou Weigui, Chairman of ZTE. "We are very confident that Mr. Shi, with his profound knowledge and experience in comprehensive fields ranging from technology, research & development, production management and long-term global marketing system, is capable of driving ZTE to the next level of success on the international business stage."
"The ZTE Board of Directors would also like to acknowledge the outstanding performance and fulfillment of duties of the ZTE management team led by former President Mr. Yin during the fourth office term," said Mr. Hou, ZTE. "Mr. Yin and his management team leveraged significant market developments to significantly grow ZTE's domestic and international business and brand presence. We are proud of their accomplishments."
