iPad OS 3.2 Decrypt Keys Leaked

Well not leaked, but released is more like it. George Hotz, a.k.a geohot has managed to find the firmware keys for the iPad operating system 3.2. With these keys hackers and Devs alike are able to decrypt iPad’s iBoot, Bootrom, and RAMdisk. This brings us one step closer to being able to jailbreak Apple’s newest device, the iPad. This could mean a few things relating to the ipad and to the possibility of a untethered jailbreak for iPhone 3Gs and iPod Touch 3G, in which geohot demoed a few weeks ago on YouTube. If you wanna take a look inside of the iPad operating system here are the keys:

Boot.k48ap.RELEASE.img3

And of course, the bootrom:
SecureROM for s5l8930xsi, Copyright 2009, Apple Inc.
03203A4EBC24BD2488EFDAAA19F0C9589496011F

We should be close to a jailbreak, my suspicion is that the major players in the jailbreak community are waiting for Apple to release the iPad 3G. There are various screenshots and videos showing the Spirit userland jailbreak on the iPad, and another shot showing Cydia running on the iPad. We just have to wait and see.
