Put.io is an online storage service that can get files from bittorrent, FTP, direct download and rapidshare.It can fetch files from these sources to their cloud storage space and later provide you with a streaming option.

The service is currently in beta providing a whopping 50 GB of storage with 150 GB of monthly bandwidth for free. Bandwidth includes the streaming and files downloads to your device and excludes the fetch to theirs.

Well, they do provide an option to quickly convert the video file to .mp4 format , stored in your space, be it from .torrent or any video sources.The convertion can be initiated from Put.io web interface in a single click.They do have an iPhone user friendly interface ( m.put.io ) which makes things easy.On iPhone, you can even see the percentage of convertion.Once the file is converted ( which usually takes some minutes based on the size) you can immediatly stream on your iPhone or iPod touch.Now, how useful and easy it is.
