Acer has announced it will release 35 million shares in Wistron and the action is expected to increase the company's non-operating profit in the second quarter by over NT$1.5 billion (US$47.79 million).
Acer will release its Wistron stocks at a price of NT$63.10, triple the company's buy-in amount of NT$20. Acer currently has 37.6 million shares in Wistron, a stake of 2.01%.
