Motorola Shadow to be Droid 2, packs 8MP camera and 720p video

The shady Motorola Shadow strikes again with more rumors - initially dubbed to become the Google Nexus Two, the device is now said to be called Motorola DROID2, with MB810 as a model number.

Yet other rumors say there are two devices - one with QWERTY, like the first render we saw, would be the Motorola Droid 2, while the Motorola Shadow (still potentially the Nexus Two), is without keyboard.

Two devices or not, the Motorola Shadow / Droid 2 / Nexus Two will have a 4.3" touchscreen with 854 x 480 pixels resolution, rumors say.

Also (and this comes with blurry photo proof), there's an 8MP camera with dual LED flash and HD video recording (most likely 720p) plus an HDMI out in the Motorola Shadow's future.

Other spec gossip includes the TI OMAP 3630 processor (possibly clocked at 720MHz), 512MB RAM, Android 2.1 with MOTOBLUR (or maybe v2.2 Froyo) in a very thin and light body.

The only rumor that got its official confirmantion is the Wi-Fi b/g/n rating - the Motorola MB810 got its certification recently. The rest is uncertain to say the least.

Rumor-land puts the release date for some time in June for Verizon, but we'll probably see a Motorola DROID / MILESTONE situation and get the Motorola MB810 Droid 2 in GSM flavor too.

The Nexus Two situation is unclear (keyboard or no keyboard?), but the Nexus One for Verizon was dropped in favor of the HTC Incredible, so it might be GSM-only.
