The convenience of having a sink in the laundry room really brings the otherwise hard to find, Martha Stewart out in me. I like to wash my hands frequently especially since dirty laundry, pun intended, is well, dirty. Not to mention a sink is great for washing my unmentionables. When we came across the retro style washing machine with an integrated sink in pink from Smeg, we simply had to show our support.
With an 11lb capacity, it's a bit small for the large loads we are used to in the US, but it's standard for Europe. It comes with 15 programs and variable spin speeds, an LCD screen, and is quite contemporary despite its retro look. It's also rated AAA which proves it's energy efficient. You can chose from baby pink or baby blue.
