
Following the acquisition of Maktoob.com last year, Yahoo! Middle East has today unveiled the new brand ‘Yahoo! Maktoob’. Previously known as Maktoob from Yahoo!, the new brand, which is showcased throughout the website further emphasizes the Yahoo! brand values, enabling a wider reach across the region and ensuring that Yahoo! Maktoob is at the centre of people online lives.
The Yahoo! Maktoob main website, the home to news, finance, sports and available in both English and Arabic, further incorporates the Yahoo! look and feel with updated relevant content at the centre of the page to make it easier for consumers to navigate and locate their preferred news.
The announcement of the new brand ‘Yahoo! Maktoob’ is a significant point for Yahoo! in the Middle East, as it prepares to implement new Yahoo! features, such as Y! search on Maktoob.com channels and additional global Arabic channels.
