HELP: how to jailbreak Apple TV 2G Seas0nPass

This guide will explain how to jailbreak the 2G Apple TV, using the application for Mac Seas0nPass released a few hours ago.


Before you begin:

* Make sure you update iTunes to the latest version idsponibile
* Seas0nPass download from this link
* Make sure you have a micro USB cable as in the image, which is essential to complete the operation jailbreak

We perform the jailbreak:

1. Unpack the file "Seas0nPass.zip" and run the application



2. If your Apple TV is not already unlocked, select "Create IPSW"



3. Will download the latest firmware from Apple TV and will be used to create a custom firmware jailbroken



4. When prompted, connect Apple TV to your Mac using the micro USB cable and hold down the MENU and PLAY / PAUSE button for 7 seconds (DFU mode)



5. iTunes will open automatically and begin the recovery process.



6. Once completed, your Apple TV is now jailbroken.

This program also includes a simple 'Tethered Boot' to boot the Apple TV in tethered mode in circumstances of necessity, arising, for example, the lack of a firm and final jailbreak (untethered) for a particular firmware. Just click the appropriate button to start correctly the Apple TV in case of problems.

WARNING: Some users report problems in viewing the contents of the Apple TV via HDMI after the jailbreak. To resolve this, try and restart the device.
