Microsoft: "App Store" is not just for Apple

The two arch-rivals from climbing into the ring again and the prize is the coveted term "App Store". We all know the App Store as the service that allows you to download applications, free or paid, for our iDevices. Many users of the apple, which are now so many, over the years, give the name only to Apple. According to Microsoft, however, things must change and therefore requires the cancellation of the trademark "App Store, Apple recorded in the now past 2008.

Microsoft requires the cancellation of the trademark "App Store" in 2008, presenting a motion to the USPTO, better known in Italy as "U.S. Office of Patents and Trademarks".

In fact, according to Microsoft, the term "App " is not attributable solely to Apple, but has become a generic term which defines all of the software specifically geared to mobile devices. The same reasoning applies to "Store", which is precisely to identify the locations that sell goods and services, more commonly, a shop.

He then began a new battle between Microsoft and Apple. Who will win the day?
