We had earlier posted about the availability of Grooveshark apps for Blackberry and Android platforms. Also hinted about the availability of an iPhone app soon. Grooveshark, the popular online music streaming website today, made available its app for iPhones through Cydia store. They couldn’t actually launch it through the Apple store. Grooveshark say’s :
Right now there is not a Grooveshark application for iPhones through Apple’s iPhone App Store. Unfortunately at this time, Apple is unwilling to work with Grooveshark to approve our application.
Just do a search for “Grooveshark” in Cydia ( for Jailbroken iPhones ) and install it. Currently it is available for what they call a “VIP sneak peak”. They offer interesting features for early adopters. Just as in their web version you can browse your favorites, listen to and create playlists, discover music using Radio, cache songs for offline play etc.
