HTC sees on-year revenue growth in January 2010

HTC has posted revenues of NT$11.12 billion (US$346.74 million) for January 2010, down 20.95% sequentially but up 11.12% on year, according to company data.

Although the January figures met market expectations, they also indicated that HTC is expected to see its revenues drop below the NT$10 billion mark in February due to the impact of the Lunar New Year holidays, according to a Chinese-language Commercial Times report.

HTC is also likely to see its revenues reach the low-end revenue projection of NT$32-34 billion for the first quarter of 2010, the paper added.
