Sprint has announced today a partnership with GetJar, the world's second largest app store. Through this agreement, GetJar's catalog of more than 60,000 free applications will now be available to all Sprint customers. In addition, Sprint customers with BlackBerry and Windows Mobile devices also will have access to the GetJar library of applications.
Pannon Hungary has selected LTE to support a LTE trial. Under this agreement ZTE will provide an end-to-end solution, including radio and core infrastructure as well as end user terminals.

Botswana's Mascom customers can now top-up or pay their bills directly from their mobile phone using a Debit or Credit card. The service is being provided by South Africa based PAYM8.
Portugal's Optimus has expanded its Tekelec supplied platform to monitor performance of its converged network. The agreement builds on Tekelec's history of monitoring Optimus's signaling system 7 (SS7) networks for more than five years.
