Screen Time is a simple application that allows you to set a time limit for use of the device by their children. Simply set the time limit, press the Start button and give the iPhone to the child.
Once the time expires, the iPhone will appear a series of notifications that will prevent local children to use the iPhone, unless you enter the correct password spade previously set.
The child will be forced to return the iPhone, because now become unusable. This is a solution a bit 'crude, but certainly functional, Screen Time is also available free on the App Store.
