Motorola unveils its app store, SHOP4APPS


The new store, which is named Zhi-Jian-Yuan (“Place for Apps Wisdom”) in Chinese, will have apps related to the Google Android operating system, which allows users to discover, purchase, and download solutions aimed at the customization of their Motorola handsets running under the said OS.

The company also said that the new software solutions portal will be available by the Chinese New Year. The new SHOP4APPS storefront will also enable users to customize their devices, which are also listed in Baidu as well as other providers.

SHOP4APPS will also offer developers the opportunity to market and sponsor their apps on Android handsets within the Chinese market.

The features of SHOP4APPS include meaningful apps for users based on their existing preferences, region and carrier. They can download or buy the apps and keep it forever. Developers can also promote their innovation on the new platform.
