he Ubuntu Canonical Team released the version 10.04 LTS codenamed Lucid Lynx.This is the latest version of Ubuntu, the most famous Linux Distro till date , based on 2.6.32.11 Kernel. The 12th release of this particular OS and being an LTS (Long Term Support) release it will be supported for 3 years on desktops and 5 years on servers.
