Top TV maker, Samsung, is thinking hard about taking on Google Android TV.
The new Android based LED TVs are being talked about by more than one major TV manufacturer with Sony also in discussions about incorporating the format. At present Samsung say they are 'examining the business feasibility of Google TVs', along with saying that they are watching the market and how it develops as well as Sony with their version.
The wealth of downloadable content and software that is available on the mobile market could be brought to the TV world if Google and Apple have anything to do with it.
However, an analyst has suggested that it may not be the best move for Samsung (or Sony) as Google may take control of the TV market and that Samsung should consider using its own platform on its TVs, Bada instead.
