Xmarks Updated – Now Supports Open Tabs Sync

Xmarks is no doubt best bookmark synchronization addon for Firefox, Safari and Internet explorer. If you have been avoiding using Xmarks then here is one more reason to start using it from today. Xmarks addon has been updated (Xmarks 3.65.) and now it comes with one of most user demanded feature, Sync open tabs.

Yes now you can sync all your open tabs of Firefox on multiple computers, the feature is opt-in feature and can be activated in Xmarks settings dialog box. Just go to Xmarks ? Settings ? Sync and check to enable sync of Open Tabs.

The feature is only available for Firefox browser but soon it will be available for My.xmarks.xom and Xmarks for chrome. There are many scenarios where this feature can come handy, of which synching open tabs between Home and Office computer will be the likely case of most of us.

Access Xmarks Settings from Firefox Tools- Xmarks- Xmarks Settings


Now Under Xmarks Settings Dialogue box click on Sync Tab and check Open Tabs


Enter Name of Computer

On Remote Computer

Access Firefox Tools- Xmarks- Open Remote Tabs


Now select the urls from the list to open in your browser.
