iPhone OS 4.0 SDK Beta 3 Available Now

The latest installment of the iPhone SDK beta, iPhone OS 4.0 SDK Beta 3, is now available for download. All release, like past releases, will include a firmweare version for all compatible devices including the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G, and 3rd and 2nd generation iPod touch.

Of course like all beta releases the download is only available to developers and you may want to wait a bit, as the site is usually quite sluggish during the initial hours of beta releases. As per usual, you can grab the iPhone OS 4.0 SDK Beta 3 from the iPhone Dev Center.

We have gotten word that their have been camera fixes which means screenshots are working again. Other than that we don’t have any info about changes or improvements made in this release as of yet, but we will be sure to keep you posted here on BlogsDNA. Let us know in the comments if you find anything interesting in this latest iPhone SDK release.

A public release of the iPhone OS 4 is due this summer with an iPad version coming in the fall.
