Samsung Rugged Rugby II To Hit AT&T On June


AT&T has officially announced the Samsung Rugby II, a new rugged phone that comes to replace the old Rugby, introduced almost two years ago.

The Rugby II is a “next generation Push to Talk device”, coming in a clamshell form factor and featuring HSPA (7.2 Mbps), A-GPS, AT&T Navigator, TeleNav Track, Xora GPS Timetrack, noise suppression technology, Bluetooth, Music player, Web browser, 2MP camera with video recording, large external speakers, and MicroSD card support.

The handset is certified to military standard MIL-STD-810G, thus being able to withstand dust, shock, vibration, humidity, rain and solar radiation.The Samsung Rugby II should be available at AT&T on June 6.
