Samsung Galaxy S: Help Root ROM leak Android 2.3.2 Gingerbread...

Yesterday we told you about the new ROM-based Android 2.3.2 Gingerbread for Samsung Galaxy S. As mentioned earlier, this is a ROM leak is not yet official and under development, so it is possible that not everything runs smoothly.





However, those interested to try it but did not want to lose the rights of root, we offer a brief guide to root the new ROM:


  • First of all procuriamoci Odin and download the following file ( Download )
  • From Odin select PDA and upload the file speedmod-kernel-k13c-500hz.tar
  • Uncheck re-partition and Auto Reboot and click on Start
  • At this point, remove the battery on the phone and start them in Recovery Mode (by pressing the central button Volume Up + + power button )
  • We move with the Volume buttons on speedmod Ulk advanced features and click on Root
  • We remove the battery again
  • Open Odin and PDAs , we select the original kernel JV1 ( KernelGinger.tar.md5 ) this time with Auto reboot checked
  • The process is complete, we will have the rights to Root
