iPhone 4G Rumoured June 22nd

Same place, same week, same usual Tuesday announcement, is the iPhone launching June 22nd?

The Yerba Buena Center, that's the name of the venue synonymous with Apple keynote events for the iPhone. Apple have a very reliable habit of announcing and updating products on a Tuesday, take this Tuesdays MacBook Pro refresh for instance. Combine that with the same approximate dates being booked up ahead of schedule at the Yerba Buena Center and you have the makings of an Apple iPhone 4G Keynote.

With the current crop of Android smartphones that have launched this last week, most of the competition have put their cards on the table as they wait to see what the california based computer manufacturer has up it's sleeve.

Since the iPhone's introduction back in June 2007, Apple have released each subsequent generation around the same time each year as you can see below:

* iPhone (June 29, 2007)
* iPhone 3G (July 11, 2008)
* iPhone 3Gs (June 19, 2009)
* iPhone 4G (June 22, 2010) ???

Doesn't that look suspiciously like an iPhone Launch date to you? Because it definitely does to us!! Apple always keep details of their announcements close to their chest, but at the same time they do like a nice clean product cycle, they're a bit OCD like that. We'll keep you posted as and when this information is clarified.
