Samsung's 3D Enabled Blu-ray Player, The First in the UK

Samsung's launched the BD-C6900 in the UK, which is a 3D enabled Blu-ray player.

Venturing into the 3D TV market can be a bit overwhelming and intimidating especially as its a brand new space. Samsung has launched their BD-C69003D enabled Blu-ray player in the UK to entice consumers to take the plunge.

We aren't saying the Samsung device is for frugal buyers, but you can find it on the internet for under £300. With an already expensive 3D TV purchase and the glasses that are needed to go with it, your wallet can start to deflate quickly. So after you have made your 3D investment, here is what you can you look forward to in the near future . . .

Within the next 18 months 3D Blu-ray content will expand with the following releases of Toy Story 3; Space Chimps 2; How to Train Your Dragon; Shrek Forever After; Cats & Dogs: The Revenge Of Kitty Galore; The Hole; Legend Of The Guardians; Saw VII; Jackass; Tron: Legacy; Yogi Bear; Step Up; Piranha; Resident Evil: Afterlife; The Cabin in the Woods; Tangled; Drive Angry; Gnomeo & Juliet; Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part II; Cars 2; The Smurfs; and perhaps Avatar.

Much anticipated is also the dedicated Sky 3D Channel, which is promising live sporting action in 3D. Sky 3D will be available at home this this year and there is currently a preview channel to check out if you are already a paying customer.
