Gameloft backtracks on freemium

Gameloft backtracks on freemium...

It was in the air for some time, with the discontent of fans and ranking problems: Gameloft has begun to retreat from the distribution system freemium tested (poorly) with Starfront Sacred and Odyssey. Starcraft is now also available on the App Store for its price "real", and the same will happen soon with Sacred Odyssey, and for the time freemium versions will remain available.

The news gets to a surprise: Gameloft had to collect heavy criticism from fans because the system had decided to adopt was not considered very "clear" and forced the players concerned to unlock the full game to do so only through a purchase in-app.

Personally I could not find the systems in place so negative, but I think without doubt correct to leave the players an option: those who prefer to buy the game via the App Store can now do that easily, after having tried the version freemium.
