Apple Rejects Pulitzer Winner iPhone App

People have been criticizing Steve Jobs and Apple calling him "anti-American" for his decision to reject Pulitzer winner's iPhone app because it "ridicules public figures." Apple refused an iPhone program presenting freelance artist, Mark Fiore's animated cartooning because they were mean to name-brand people.

An email was forwarded from Apple by Fiore that stated, "We've reviewed NewsToons and determined that we cannot post this version of your iPhone application to the App Store because it contains content that ridicules public figures."

It seems like a bit of a contradiction for people to criticize Mr. Jobs for running his company the way he chooses to. We celebrate and praise the freedom that exists in the US, which also includes being able to sell what we like at our own stores, as Apple is doing. You may not agree with all of Apple's decisions and if that's the case, don't support Apple products.
